Ever got customers leaving their carts for a long time? Loss of revenue from order abandonment has been a painful experience for all store owners. Don’t blame them, they just simply forget about the carts! And they need to be reminded! Surely, you want to remind them, but you do not want to manually do it one by one. Do you want your customers to receive emails or SMS automatically after leaving the cart or checkout page? Our Recover Abandoned orders Automation Flow can help you do just that. Please follow these below steps to create a basic Abandoned Recovery Flow:
First, go to Automation flow, click Create New and select Recover Abandoned orders
There are some templates which the app offers, you can click through them and choose the one that fits your needs. In this article, we cover the most basic Flow (Email only). Click “Use this template”.
Trigger: The Flow will be triggered once users placed orders and then left at either the Cart Page or the Check out page. After a minimum 1 hour, the contacts who have entered the Flow will be moved to the next step.
There are two options for you to choose:
+ Only events from now on
+ Including events from history if you want the contacts who have abandoned their carts in the past 60 days to enter the Flow.
Please note that you cannot change this option after the Flow has been set live.
Send Email - This is where you edit the emails based on your own styles and tastes
Here is the simple logic of this Flow: Once your customers leave their carts or checkout pages for an hour, they will receive the first email reminder. After that, if they do certain actions based on the condition (Clicked Link or Opened Email or Placed Order), they will exit the Flow. If not, the second email will go out after 48 hours.
You have the option to include more conditions and actions based on your needs, specifically the store size and the number of contacts you have. If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us via the Chat or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
