Why do you need to segment your audience?

Got a brilliant marketing idea in mind, but only for specific customers? Do you want your audiences to receive different individual messages that are targeted for them only?

Segmenting your audience list before launching your Email/SMS Campaigns can help you achieve all of that.

How to do it on Flowio.

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Email or SMS Editor by clicking on your Campaign name

  2. Switch to the Settings tab and then choose Audience

3. Choose your targeted audience in the dropdown list, available segmentation in the list should be created beforehand from the Audience List section. Otherwise, you can also click on the 'Add filter' button to segment your contacts quickly before sending the campaign.

Why the number of contacts in Email Settings is different from the segmentation in my Audience List?

The segments in the Email/SMS settings can only include the contacts which have ‘subscribed’ status. The number of contacts shown here might be slightly different to your segmentation in the Audience list.

4. We recommend creating separate campaigns for different audiences.

For instance, a campaign for your Frequent Buyers, which introduces your New Arrivals. Another campaign offering some Coupon codes to re-engage your Slipped Away Customers.
